Excellent Controls Menu
The controls are easy to use. It has options such as the one for ‘dough-only’, or the one for making a loaf of bread from start to finish. Other clever programming options include a sourdough starter, a 2-hour quick- baking cycle for those “I want bread now” moments, or how about 3 different crust settings!
About that sourdough starter: Sourdough starter is a form of the original “leaven” for bread. Traditional sourdough starter usually takes 7 to 10 days to prepare, but the Zojirushi comes with a sourdough starter cycle that prepares light sourdough starter in just 2 hours.
The Zojirushi BBCCX20 also has a memory: it remembers your favourite recipes! All so it becomes even easier to set it up next time and prepare your favourite bread with the least amount of hassle.

Bread Looks Like It Should 
The Zojirushi BBCCX20 has a great horizontal baking tray. It makes the bread come out as it us supposed to: like a bread! 
I would much prefer that than the vertical loaves you get with some of the bread makers. Maybe its a small point but I thought I’d mention it anyway.
Make Your Ingredients Feel Nice And Comfortable The Zojirushi BBCCX20 has this excellent feature: it pre-heats the ingredients to room temperature for all cycles. It also has a temperature controlled environment when the dough is rising, and is basically designed to give you perfect bread each and every time.
One happy reviewer said: “I have never had a bread machine that preheats the ingredients and believe that this may be a factor in the success of the machine, along with the fact that this machine has two paddles to mix the ingredients rather than one.” 
Do You Love Cleaning? Me too! Ok..perhaps not. Well, if you love cleaning, I have to disappoint you! The Zojirushi bread maker pan has a great non-stick coating, which makes cleaning a joy, compared to the mess you had to deal with when you made your breads (ahem…) by hand… and then there is always the dishwasher…
Any Downsides? I know, I mentioned a lot of good stuff, but are they are downsides you need to be aware off? I don’t think there are any to prevent you, or the other 500+ reviewers, to buy this one. But I have heard some people didn’t like the beep that goes off sometimes. This is to remind you that certain ingredients need to be added ‘now’.
I’d say this could be a help as well as a hindrance. But does it make the bread any less delicious? You might want to make sure you have some space for the Zojirushi BBCCX20. It’s a sizeable bread machine, so if you have a tiny little table or workspace that only fits a one ring cooker, don’t try and fit the Zo on there too Ok, basically you need to have a decent space, but it deserves it if you like your bread to be…horizontal and gorgeous.
